The Food Temptress cruise is finally here. Family, friends, and fans will set sail on March 20 -25, from San Diego, California, heading to Cabo San Lucas Mexico. I will be signing books the first evening aboard Carnival's Fun Ship Elation. Then we will get gussied up and head to dinner in the dining room.

I appreciate you joining me for this exciting event and my 40th Birthday. I am looking forward to seeing all of you soon. Thank you!

For those who cannot attend, I will load pictures on my Facebook page. Not a fan? Become of Fan of Author Rekaya Gibson by going to:!/pages/Author-Rekaya-Gibson/355017565812?ref=ts

The Nibble - Great Food Finds, an online magazine about specialty foods, is one of my favorite websites. They offer reviews of specialty foods and beverages; ideas for entertaining; tips and how-to’s; recipes, and much more. Below is a sample of March Food Holidays with my very own celebratory ideas.

American Chocolate Week is the third week in March.
To celebrate, tour a chocolate factory or treat yourself to a piece of chocolate from a specialty store.

National Celery Month
To celebrate, make "ants on a log." Cut celery stalk into three-inch pieces. Spread peanut butter in the center. Top with raisins.

National Frozen Food Month
To celebrate, eat a frozen dinner with the entire family. Make it a rule to turn off all electronic devices during this time.

National Noodle Month
To celebrate, donate noodles to a local food bank.

National Peanut Month
To celebrate, plant a peanut garden, go to "How to Plant Peanuts" at the following website:

National Sauce Month
To celebrate, make or try a sauce that you never experienced.

Everyday is a National Food Holiday. For a complete list, go to:
