  1. I love that you chose more "vintage" versions for some of your selections. I've been uploading some of my Christmas CDs to the computer--love listening to them on shuffle!-- and it surprised me recently that, with more than 60 different discs, not a single one contained "Christmas Eve in My Home Town," a favorite of my Dad's (he liked the Kate Smith version). In fact, there doesn't even appear to have been a remake of it since 1970. Weird...

    We're Christmas Shopping American in my post this week.

  4. Silent Night by the Temptations, wonderful! I grew up on all of the Motown and "soul" versions of Christmas songs, but I've come to love others like Michael Buble. Great list!
